We are a non-profit organization dedicated to providing free youth soccer programs, leadership education, skill development, social emotional learning, and youth mentoring in South Seattle.

Underdog Athletes Youth Soccer, founded by an experienced educator and soccer coach with a background in Seattle Public Schools, aims to empower the underserved but talented youth of South Seattle through the joy of soccer. Our programs focus on developing useful skills, confidence, and a sense of belonging to drive them towards a brighter future.

Free Youth Soccer

We provide free soccer lessons, access to games and sporting events for all youth ages 5-14, no matter the gender, skill level, or English speaking ability

Leadership Skill Development

We offer classes taught by trained educators and soccer coaches that emphasizes healthy leadership, teamwork and communication styles.

Social Emotional Learning

We support emotional wellbeing through positive coaching, conflict resolution, and a safe space to work through emotions. Our coaches care deeply about the whole person, not just athletic ability.
